Just Around the River Bend= Homecoming

Homecoming is in 26 days!

Saturday, October 19th is guaranteed to be a day full of CK LOVE. Starting off the morning with Truman’s Homecoming parade, followed by our alumnae luncheon, and ending the night with a dessert party. You don’t want to miss out! Check out the 2013 Homecoming invitation for more information.

Nearby CK alumnae are also more than welcome to attend events on campus throughout the week! The event schedule is posted here: event schedule. We are on team “Aquamarine Teal,” so feel to get in the team spirit and wear teal!

Summer of Big Reds

Did you know that this past summer was much colder in many places than usual? Luckily our CKs had their Big Reds to keep them warm! Take a look at the many places our sisters sported their Big Reds this summer:

Our chapter’s president Hannah Farnsworth sported some CK spirit at the USA vs Panama Gold Cup Champion soccer game!

: Jancee snuggled up with her FRIENDS and Big Red on a rainy night in Kansas City!

Peggy shared some CK love with her Newfoundland cousins, Birkie and Henry, at the beach in Lake Michigan!

Morgan’s Big Red brought her some luck in Wisconsin where she caught her first fish!

Katie Hirsch’s Big Red helped keep her and her sister warm on a cold summer night in Kansas!

Katie Hamel introduced her Big Red to the beautiful beaches of Hawaii this summer!

Our national president and wonderful Alum Rachel Marx is bringing a lot of CK love to her new town and Teach For America students in Arkansas!

Future Dr. July says, “White coat and big red= clutch combo!”
